摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To determine a tool path at a high speed and surely from a tool shape and a line group with respect to the surface to be worked including a trim curved surface by executing bend line approximation with regard to the surface to be worked, and eliminating an unnecessary bend line part by using a trim curve subjected to bend line approximation in a advance. CONSTITUTION:Worked surface shape data 2 and a working condition 3 are inputted, and by executing a prescribe processing, tool path data 4 is formed and outputted. In a tool path calculating device 1, line grouping of a curved surface 5, and a trim surface processing are executed, and also, a contact calculation of a tool and a line group 6 is executed for each position to obtain a tool route. The curved surface 5 before trimming is converted to a line group in accordance with the designated tool diameter. An interval and length of the line group 6 are determined by the tool diameter and the tolerance. After it is converted to the line group, an unnecessary part is eliminated by a trim curve, etc., and as a result, the line group 6 is obtained. By a contact calculation of the line group 6 obtained in such a way and a tool shape (a hemi-spherical surface in the case of a ball end mill), tool height in each point is determined, and it is taken as a tool path.</p>
