PURPOSE:To enable accurate and efficient measurement of the refraction characteristics of a progressive multi-focus lens or a bifocal lens by providing a position-adjusting information display means that displays the completion of the adjustment of position on the basis of position information of the lens measured by means of a measuring means. CONSTITUTION:A luminous flux selected by a mask 411 of a first optical path comprising a half mirror 407 and a mirror 409 is divided into two parts by a half mirror 410 to be detected by respective line sensors 413, 414 each having a CCD. On the other hand, a luminous flux of a second optical path comprising the half mirror 407 and a mirror 408 is also divided into two parts by the half mirror 410 to be detected by the respective sensor 413, 414. An operation control circuit 420 operates the refraction characteristics of a lens to be inspected from a pitch and an inclination angle of each of projection patterns of a mask 411 and a mask 412 so that the measured value is displayed on a CRT display 423 in digital data via an interface circuit 421 as well as temporarily memorized in a memory. |
