PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of confortability in a cabin due to generation of booming noise, reduce power loss due to slip of a torque converter, and improve fuel consumption. CONSTITUTION:An booming noise signal MDB is extracted from a cabin noise detected by microphone 16, and when the booming noise signal MDB integration- processed to be an integration processed signal IMDB is less than a judging level, a duty ratio of a control signal is increased to decrease a slip quantity of a look-up clutch 8, and when the integration-processed signal IMDB is more than the judging level, the duty ratio of the control signal is decreased to increase the slip quantity. As a result, the slip quantity is decreased to the minimum possible till immediately before generated booming noise affects on confortability in a cabin, and power loss due to slip of a torque converter 6 is reduced to the minimum. |
