PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the quality of any image, such as dispersion of jitter and dot pitch in the sub-scanning direction by enabling the driven shaft of a photosensitive member to be directly connected to the drive shaft thereof coaxially without using any indirect connecting method, through gears, and without making the equipment large-sized when the photosensitive member is assembled to the drive shaft proviously set inside a casing from the direction to intersect the axial direction, resultantly preventing the enevenness of the rotational speed of the photosensitive member. CONSTITUTION:A coupling for coaxially connecting a drive shaft 4 to a driven shaft 6 is composed of a first coupling piece 10 fixed on one shaft end, a second coupling piece 11 fixed on the other shaft end, a pin 12 protruded in the eccentric position on the inner surface of the first coupling piece and a pin engaging portion 13 formed on the inner surface of the second coupling piece, and the pin engaging portion is so constituted as receiving the pin from the peripheral surface side of the second coupling piece and being engaged with the pin. |
