PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of a digital video stabilizing system and to improve the stability of videos by enlarging the videos for removing off-the-normal boundaries by using accumulated new and old weighted values which are obtained by means of an edge detecting means, an edge pattern matching means, and a local/field motion vector generating means. CONSTITUTION: Original video data are accumulated in a field(F) memory 70 and an edge-detecting means 10 and an edge pattern matching means 20 decide M pieces of local(L) motion vectors(MV) between new and old data. Then LMV, FMV, accumulating (A) M, and F memory address generating means 30-60 successively check the correlation among the M pieces of LMVs, according to each prescribed procedure and generate an address by using an AMV, found by calculating the mean value of weighted values. A digital zooming means 80 reads out the data from the memory 70, removes off-the-normal boundaries, and outputs stabilized and enlarged video data based on the address. Therefore, the cost of a digital video stabilizing system can be reduced by making the circuit configuration of the system simpler, and the stability of videos is improved. |
