<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high reliability while making high-speed access by forming position information which indicates the position of a playback head by a reproduced signal and detecting whether a target position is attained or not in accordance with the above-mentioned position information by a control section. CONSTITUTION:Rotary heads 2, 2' are projected from a rotary cylinder 1 in a single-shot manner at every prescribed period to read the time code on a tape. The reproducing device is so operated as to improve the accuracy of the tape position successively calculated from the winding diameter of the tape by correcting the result obtd. by detecting the remainder of the tape at every read time code. A pinch roller 5 is shifted to a press contact state when the position near the desired tape position is attained. The heads 2, 2' are projected to the outside diametral direction of a cylinder 1 and is shifted to the contact state with the magnetic tape 3. A time code signal is formed again by a reproducing amplifier 17 and a reproducing circuit 18 at this time. The time code is then recognized by a microprocessor 19 and the position to be recorded or reproduced is calculated with high accuracy and the desired track is exactly recorded and reproduced.</p> |
