A receiver (3) is assigned to the scanner-decoder unit (5) set to a frequency range over which radio stations transmit a recognition signal signifying traffic information. A warning signal is sent over these frequencies via a transmitter (4) when a tripping device (7) is activated, either manually or via a sensor responding to a physical occurrence.The necessary control parameters (6) are set by exchangeable information carriers and/or integrated circuits. The current supply can be provided by batteries, accumulators or solar cells. The installation can be constructed to interact with an electronic control or regulating system on-board a vehicle. |
