The ski binding may be used on skis or snowboards. It has a baseplate (2) fixed to the ski or snowboard, being held by a central fastening device (3). There are forward and rear sole support plates (6) for the user's ski boots which are held by screws (5) engaging in slots (8) in the baseplate (2) to allow the plates to be moved longitudinally to accommodate different shoe sizes.There are calibration markings (1) on the baseplate to allow the movable plates to be set according to the user's shoe size. There are holding loops (7) attached to the siding sole plates (6),and there are grooves (4) in the baseplate to act as an additional support and guide for the sliding sole plates.
