Positive armoured electrodes mfg. device for lead-acid batteries

A plant for manufacturing positive armoured electrodes for lead-acid accumulators has means for encasing the lead grid (1) with a gauze (3), plus profile rollers to form the segment cross-sections. There is also at least one stitching machine for the seams between segments. The profile rollers are a pair of straight toothed gear wheels (4) with tooth length at least equalling the width of the sheet of electrodes passing between the gears. Instead of gears, there may be a pair of toothed belts, each running over a pair of rollers, and sandwiching the sheet between them.
