The device has a shaft, a handle, and a hammer flash (5) on the shaft, away from the hammer head. A saw blade (6) of hardened steel is fitted on the shaft. The hammer flash has a cutting edge (7) with a max. radius of 0.5 mm.Typically the cutting edge is straight and may have a sharp mandrel. The hammer flash may have a wedge angle of 15 to 60 deg. The hammer flash width is max. 30 mm, and the shaft handle (4) may have a protection bracket (15).
