The drive has a piston (23,46) which moves to and fro in a cylinder (24,47). The piston (23,46) is connected to a spindle (19,36) rotatably disposed in a housing (3,32). The spindle (19,36) is driven by a reversible electromotor (4,33) arranged in the housing (3,32). The motor (4,33) has a rotor (7,37) and a stator (5,34).If the rotor (7,37) is arranged on a sleeve (6) in the housing (7), the rotation of the rotor (7,37) is directly translated to the spindle (19,36) which acts as a screw. The sleeve (6) is in engagement with the spindle (19) via a rolling body (18) which is connected to the piston (23).
