The housing (1) for storing the tools also serves as a handle or handgrip. Inside the housing are a number of channels (2) in which double-ended tools, e.g. a switch-box key (3), are held rotationally fixed but with limited sliding movement. In the middle parked position the two different ends (4) of the tool bit are flush with the end faces (8) of the housing.Radial stud pins (13) are fixed to the tools. They protrude through guide slots (12) in the housing and can be manipulated by the fingers to bring a required tool into the working position, where it is retained by a narrowing (16,17,18) of the slot.
