In a single operation, the ground is first deeply loosened and then deeply ploughed-up, without forming lumps. It is then examined, and any explosive items exposed are removed.The ground can be sifted and the items removed, and the ground can be loosened and removed to a depth of between 10 and 80 cm. Loosening can be by a single deep-ploughing share (2) preceded by a coulter (1).
