Phospho peptides from calf thymus cell nuclei of a mean mol.wt. of 9950 Dalton, an Rf value after anionic exchange chromatography of 0.203 and 0.246 or 0.031, 0.077 and 0.131 in gradient A (0 to 4 M HCOOH) or B (0 to 2 M HCOONH4 in HCOOH) respectively and a molar ratio of phospho serine complex : aspartate : threonine : serine : glutamic acid : glycine : alanine : valine : isoleucine : leucine : lysine : arginine of 31 : 6 : 1 : 2 : 8 : 13 : 4 : 2 : 1 : 3 : 1 : 1 from gradient A or 62 : 6 : 1 : 2 : 8 : 13 : 4 : 2 : 1 : 3 : 1 : 1 from gradient B respectively.Also claimed is the prodn. of the phospho peptides.
