Decontamination of blood dialysis system

In the decontamination of a blood dialysis circuit outside the body, a circuit is formed comprising an arterial line (3), a chamber recovering the patient's blood, the venous line (5), part of the line (9) supplying dialysate, a second chamber, separated from the first by a semi-permeable membrane and circulated by dialysis fluid, and part of the line (11) for discharge of dialysate. Disinfectant fluid is circulated through this circuit, from a storage container (22) by a pump (19) with connections (7,10) to complete the circuit.
