PURPOSE:To provide a visual sensor capable of concurrently using a camera under proper exposure conditions when the visual sensor is selectively used as a 3-D sensor and a 2-D sensor. CONSTITUTION:The CCD camera 2 and slit light projector 4 of a visual sensor are fitted on a base. A frame 6 fitted with a light reducing filter 7 is rotated near the lens barrel 3 of the CCD camera 2, and a mechanism rotatively displaced between the operational position and the nonoperational position is arranged on the light reducing filter 7. The rotation of a motor 8 is transmitted to a rotary shaft 11 supporting the frame 6 via reduction gears 9A, 9B. The light reducing filter 7 fitted to the frame 6 is rotatively displaced between the operational position covering the light incidence section of the lens barrel 3 around the shaft and the nonoperational position retreated upward from there in response to it. The structure and function normally provided on the visual sensor can be utilized for the switching control when the visual sensor is selectively used as a 3-D sensor and a 2-D sensor. |
