The connector body (2) has an internal axial bore (18) with one open end for taking a tube. The bore has an annular shoulder (24) which forms a seat for a sealing ring (4), and a circumferential rib (26) projecting from the bore internal wall (20). A collar (6) has an annular groove (30) for fitting the rib and holding the seal.The rib, located between the shoulder and the bore open end, effects a flexible interlocking for the collar and, in combination with the shoulder, an intermediate space for inserting the sealing ring. The rib (26) extends for 180 degrees around the lower wall (20) facilitating raising the collar (6).
