The immersed nozzle (5) for continuous casting of metals, in particular steel, is furnished by a pipe (11) made of a refractory material and provided with a bottom (12), as well as with a number of lateral outlets (12, 13') in its wall. The bottom (12) has at least one outlet holes (18) for liquid metal and the total area of all these holes (18) is equal to 0.015-0.5 times the area of the passage cross section of the pipe (11).
