A device for fixing holding down pins (1) in holes (2) in sheeting (3) has a stop projection (4) bearing on the outer face of the sheeting, a pan head (6) with a flexible catch (8) to lock against the underside of the sheeting or against a round projection (13) on the pin body.It is available with a spring catch lock on a projection round the body. The pan head (6) has a downstand projection which fits into a gap between an upstanding finger on the body when the pan head is pushed into position. The panhead is made of plastics.
