A deflector (diverter) for controlling a door lock, in which a plate (19) may be displaced within a housing (1-4) in an orthogonal direction with respect to a slot (5) in the housing, which plate is connected to a control rod and includes an inclinded slot (21), and a bolt (7) may be displaced in a longitudinal direction with respect to the housing, which bolt includes one end (8) projecting from the housing to engage the case of the door and it is provided with a peg (15) engaged in the two slots (5) of the housing and (21) of the displaceable plate. The bolt (7) includes a body and a sleeve, which are coupled together so that they can rotate but cannot be displaced with respect to each other in an axial direction; the end (8) of the bolt which is intended to engage the case of the door is secured to the body (7) of the bolt and it has a widened non-circular cross-section, and the peg (15) engaged in the slots of the housing and of the plate is mounted on the sleeve of the bolt; in addition, the body of the bolt (7) has a groove having a helical part extending around the bolt over an angle of close to 90@, in which groove there engages a peg (6) secured to the housing. In this way the bolt, during its closure travel, makes a rotation by means of which its widened non-circular end (8) positively engages the case of the door. <IMAGE> |
