PURPOSE:To achieve reduction of running noise by providing a noise detector in the inside or the like of a lift path, and slowing down a speed of an oblique traveling elevator when a noise level is a predetermined value or more at running time. CONSTITUTION:When an elevator runs, noise is generated by a rolling sound of rollers 11, 21 and rails 30 under a car, and generally when a speed of the elevator is decreased, also the noise is decreased. Then a noise detector 100 is provided in a spot, where the noise is a problem, such as a landing or a lift path, above a car, machine room, etc., to transmit a signal of this detector to a control unit 60. The elevator is detected for whether it is in running or not, and a background noise is detected, when the elevator is in stopping, and transmitted to the control unit 60, to store the data in a microcomputer. Noise at running time is detected when the elevator is in running, and a noise level is decided for whether or not it is a predetermined value or less, to slow down the speed when decision is yes, to compare the running noise with the stored dark noise data when decision is no, and to slow down the speed when the noise level is the predetermined value or more. |
