PURPOSE:To obviate a pressing plate for a cover member and independent rivets or bolts for fixing a cover member, to reduce the number of parts and to carry out assembling work easily and rapidly by fixing an air bag body with the rivet or bolt at the same time as fixing of a peripheral part of the cover member with the rivet or bolt. CONSTITUTION:A cover member 27 for covering and storing an air bag body 23 in the folded state is formed with the cross section in the shape of the letter U in general. A mounting part 28 is formed with being bent inward respectively from the both ends of the cover member 27 with the cross section in the shape of the letter U in general. The mounting part 28 of the cover member 27 is fixed to a base plate 22 through a plurality of bolts 32 and rivets 35 for fixing the air bag body 23 to the base plate 22 through a retainer 25. |
