PURPOSE: To provide a microbicidal compsn. contg. cyproconazole which exhibits wide active spectra and simultaneously particularly powerful microbicidal activity and excellent activity to the fungi, wood-discoloring fungi and wood-rotting fungi in particular, its metal salt and acid addition compd. CONSTITUTION: This microbicidal compsn. for protection of industrial materials contains the α-(4-chlorophenyl)-α-(1-cyclopropyl-ethyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-1-ethanol (i.e., cyproconazole) expressed by the formula or its metal salt or acid addition compd. The industrial materials are timber or sawn lumber products. The active compd. of the formula is recommended to be incorporated at 0.01 to 95 wt.%, more particularly 0.01 to 60 wt.% into this compd. Further, a fungicide, insecticide, etc., may be added at 0.001 to 95 wt.% therein. The compsn. has good stability as well. The wood-discoloring fungi, such as Ascomycetes, imperfect fungi and Zygomycetes and the wood-rotting fungi, such as Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes and imperfect fungi, are the objects for this compsn. |
