PURPOSE:To display the image of measurement information on a diagnosed portion in a specimen to be three-dimensionally displayed on a real time basis, regarding an ultrasonic diagnostic device. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a body surface signal elimination circuit 8 to receive from an ultrasonic transmission and receiving section 2, each reflected echo signal of a plurality of tomographic images for three-dimensional measurement space resulting from the sequential shift of a tomographic scan in a direction orthogonal with a tomographic scan plane, using an ultrasonic wave from a probe 1, and then to remove the component of the reflected echo signals covering an area from the body surface to the prescribed depth. Also, the device is provided with the first peak detection circuit 10 to detect the magnitude of the first peak of signal intensity, regarding the reflected echo signals from the circuit 8. In addition, the device is provided with a brightness value arithmetic circuit 11 to obtain the brightness value of such a displayed image as corresponding to the magnitude of the peak, and to output a brightness signal to an image memory 4, regarding output signals from the circuit 10. According to this construction, the larger is the detected peak, the larger is the brightness value for showing measurement information, and the measurement information on a diagnosed portion in a specimen can three-dimensionally be displayed on a real time basis. |
