PURPOSE: To offer how to sterilize the contact lenses and/or how to preserve the compositions for contact lens care, effective against fungi and yeast, having a long service life for users and with no happening in joining or damaging to contract lens. CONSTITUTION: The hydrophilic contact lenses are to be disinfected by having them contact with a composition containing an effective amount of disinfectant chemicals, including 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one and 2-methyl-4- isothiazoline-3-one, or, a composition for contact lens care is stored by adding an effective amount of foregoing preservation chemicals. |
