<p>PURPOSE:To securely enhance the strength and the effect of cutoff of water for a sewer pipe by a method wherein the base of a covering body is appropriately expanded and opened, and the covering body is held correctly with the internal circumferential face of the sewer pipe. CONSTITUTION:In stretching a sleeve 10 over the internal circumferential face of a sewer pipe with the base 20 expanded and opened, holding pieces 25 projecting from the base 20 are fitted, being guided by fitting slits 26 which are provided to the base 20, extending in its circumferential direction. Since the holding pieces 25 are fitted, being guided by the fitting slits 26, the sleeve can be stretched appropriately inside the sewer pipe without allowing both ends 21, 22 of the base 20 to deviate in the axial direction of a covering body 1, and thereby the improvement of strength and effect of cutoff of water for the sewer pipe can be secured.</p> |
