PURPOSE:To provide a vehicle seat common to a child seat which is capable of changing it into the child seat by simple operation without providing any complicated mechanism and also capable of changing a head rest into a child- exclusive head rest according to the growth of infant. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle seat S common to a child seat is provided with a seating section 11, seat back section 12, and a head rest 13 mounted detachably on the seat back 12. The head rest 13 is provided with a head rest main body 13a and an extension section 13b extended from the head rest main body 13a, and the seat back section 12 is provided with both side sections 14a and 14b, a recessed section 15 formed between the side sections 14a and 14b, a center section 16 located on the seating section 11 side rotatably, except for the upper position of the recessed section 15, inside the recessed section 15, and a child seat belt 17 mounted between the rear of the center section 16 and the recessed section 15. Also the extension section 13b of the head rest 13 is arranged at the upper position of the center section 16. |
