摘要

PURPOSE:To achieve increase in flying distance of a golf ball by forming the cross section of a dimple in shapes of a triangle and an inverted cone to increase a lift drag ratio remarkably. CONSTITUTION:In golf ball 1 which has numerous dimples 2 formed being depressed on the surface thereof, the cross sections of the dimples 2 are formed in shapes of a triangle and an inverted cone. This enables remarkable increase in the draft lift ratio (lift/draft) of the golf ball greatly affecting the flying distance thereof thereby achieving a significant increase in the flying distance of the golf ball.
