<p>PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which can form a toner image at a proper position over a sheet, and also can eliminate a need for enlarging an electromagnetic clutch. CONSTITUTION:Substantail delays in action time caused by each electromagnetic clutch 4 such as the characteristics, load fluctuation and the like of the electromagnetic clutch 4 are measured in advance as correction values, when the electromagnetic clutch 4 is driven with those correction values taken into consideration, a standby roller 7 can thereby be driven punctually, so that a toner image can be formed at a specified position over a sheet. And those correction values can be measured by judging the fluctuation of the output of a photointerrupter 9 where the photointerrupter 9 is provided for the gear teeth of a transmitting gear 6 which is rotated depending on the action of the electromagnetic clutch 4. By this constitution, substantial proper drive time required for each electromagnetic clutch 4 can thereby be accurately corrected.</p> |
