PURPOSE:To simultaneously operate television game equipment by an infrared ray or an ultrasonic wave by plural persons, and also, to enable data transmission at a low cost and at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:This remote control receiving unit receives simultaneously plural remote control signals consisting of an infrared ray or an ultrasonic wave modulated by plural carrier waves whose frequencies are different respectively. Them remote control receiving unit converts plural infrared remote control signals into electric signals by a photodiode PD, and subsequently, separates the electric signals for every frequency component through band pass filters BPF1-BPF4 set with a passing band in accordance with each carrier wave. Plural electric signals separated in such a way are demodulated respectively through integration circuits I1-I4 and Schmitt trigger amplifiers Smt1-Smt4, and thereafter subjected to buffering to a storage means. In such a way, for a data request from a television game apparatus main body, it is possible to cope with independetly of reception by sending out the contents of the storage means. |
