PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a blast furnace or to make stable operation possible by providing a carbonaceous refractory for lining blast furnace with high corrosion resistance to molten pig iron, high molten metal permeability resistance, high alkali resistance and high thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:This carbonaceous refractory for lining blast furnace comprises 10-50wt.% burnt anthracite, 10-50wt.% artificial graphite or natural graphite, 5-25wt.% silicon carbide and 1-15wt.% metal silicon as main components. |
