PURPOSE:To provide the polyester film having characteristics such as impact resistance, pinhole resistance or the like a biaxially stretched nylon film not possessed by an original polyester film and also having gas barrier properties. CONSTITUTION:A membrane laminated flexible polyester film is obtained by laminating a membrane composed of a metal or a metal compd. to at least the single surface of a biaxially oriented polyester film with Young's modulus of 10-250kg/mm and thrust strength of 10kg/mm or more.
