HEATING CONTAINER FOR COOKING AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To provide a heating container for cooking having a homogeneous structure contg. a carbon black as a microwave absorptive exothermic material. CONSTITUTION:The inside of the structure of this heating container for cooking consists of ceramics 1 contg. 1 to 10wt.% carbon black and the outside layer thereof is formed by molding a granular substance of the ceramics 2 not contg. the carbon black together with a ceramic material to a desired container shape and sintering the molding. The process for production of such container comprises a granular substance preparing step for subjecting the calcined granular substance contg. a sintering assistant and 1 to 10wt.% carbon black in ceramics powder to an oxidation treatment by heating to 600 to 750 deg.C in an oxidizing atmosphere and a molding and sintering step for dispersing the resultant granular substance into the slurry of the ceramic powder and the sintering assistant and molding the slurry to the desired container shape, then subjecting the molding to a sintering treatment in an inert atmosphere.
