PURPOSE:To obtain the subject food excellent in uniformity and convenience, useful in egg-processed foods, etc., by covering the surface of a liquid stock in a container with a specific cover followed by heating in a microwave oven to prevent the product from cavitation. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a liquid stock in a container is covered with a cover having microwave-blocking function (e.g. an aluminum foil) so as to prevent the local overheating of the stock and uniformly heat said stock throughout, and, at least one projection capable of concentrating microwave in an antennal fashion is located at the central part of the surface or close thereto followed by heating in a microwave oven, thus affording the objective food. |
