PURPOSE:To make it possible to set different long works by operation from the chucking side. CONSTITUTION:A lower chuck 43 to hold a work to be processed W is made displaceable along the axis of the work W, and an adjusting board 45 rotatable is installed under the chuck 43, and a plurality of differently high step faces 46a-46f are formed at the oversurface of this adjusting board 45, and there it is so arranged that a pin shaft 47 dangling from the chuck 43 can be placed. Therefore, the chuck 43 can be displaced along the axis by selecting appropriate one of the step faces 46a-46f in accordance with the length of the work W, which can thus be held at the specified level. |
