PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of a load fluctuation shock during re- starting providing an on-off valve operated through magnetic operation of an electromagnetic clutch and reducing a piston stroke through rapid displacement of a rotary swash plate to the inclination angle reduction side along with boosting of a crank chamber. CONSTITUTION:A compressor comprises a driving shaft 7 coupled to an electromagnetic clutch 6 and extended in a crank chamber 5; a feed passage 40 communicated with a delivery chamber 30b and the crank chamber 5; and an on-off valve 20 to close or open the feed passage 40. During the stop of a compressor, simultaneously with cut off of energization to the electromagnetic clutch 6, the on-off valve 20 closed through magnetic operation of the electromagnetic valve 6 is automatically opened to open the feed passage 40. During a time in which the function of a compressor is completely stopped, the inclination angle of a rotary swash plate is reduced and displaced through the feed of high pressure operation fluid to the crank chamber 5 through the feed passage 40, whereby a piston stroke during re-starting can be reduced. |
