<p>PURPOSE:To perform shearing such as punching or blanking of a thin metallic sheet while controlling the generation of burrs and without requiring special devices and dies, in the shearing method for punching or blanking of a thin metallic sheet. CONSTITUTION:In the shearing method for a thin metallic sheet by which a thin metallic sheet 4 with the thickness of about 0.1mm or less is sheared and separated by a pair of dies 1, 2 into a product 4P and a waste material 4Q, the cutting blade 2A of a first die 2 by which a part of the thin metallic sheet to be the waste 4Q is pressed is provided with a chamfering or rounding which is five to ten times as thick as the thin metallic sheet. Meantime, the cutting blade 1A of a second die 1 by which a part of the thin metallic sheet to be the product 4P is pressed is root essentially provided with a chamfering or rounding; but a patch material 5 such as paper which is provided with a thickness roughly twice or more as much as the thin metallic sheet 4, soft, less extendable and also weak enough not to essentially interfer with the shearing of the thin metallic sheet is superposed on the thin metallic sheet 4 to be a laminated body; the patch material 5 is faced with the pressed surface of the first die 2; the laminated body is arranged in the direction in which the thin metallic sheet 4 is faced with the pressed surface of the second die 1; and the method is so structured that the thin metallic sheet 4 and the patch material 5 are simultaneously sheared.</p> |
