<p>PURPOSE:To prevent water from ingressing through an exhaust port by providing a diaphragm which is enlarged due to an increase in internal pressure within a casing caused by breathing exhaust, for the casing of a mouth piece, providing an exhaust valve for an exhaust port, connecting one end of a lever to the valve body of the aforesaid exhaust valve, and concurrently connecting the other end to the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:When the internal pressure of a casing 21 is increased because of breathing exhaust by respiration at the time of diving, a diaphragm 23 is then expanded, so that a lever 29 is moved to upper left in the figure. This constitution causes the end section of a exhaust valve body 25 to be moved to the left against a coil spring 27, so that an exhaust port 17 is thereby opened. Therefore, the inside of the casing 21 is exhausted through an exhaust pipe 19. When the internal pressure of the casing 21 is lowered because of intake air, a variable intake valve body 33 is deformed so as to allow an intake port 15 to be opened, so that intake air is taken in through an intake pipe 13. If water ingresses into the mouth piece, air is then breathed out vigorously with the diaphragm 23 pressed with fingers, internal pressure within the casing 21 is rapidly increased, an exhaust valve 37 is thereby opened because the exhaust valve 25 is left closed, so that water is drained out.</p> |
