PURPOSE:To provide a gas adsorbent easily producible and having a large gas adsorbing volume. CONSTITUTION:The gas adsorbent is a crosslinked copolymer having a structure consisting essentially of vinyl amine in which nitrogen atom may be alkylated and polyvinyl compd. As amino group is directly combined with the structure of crosslinking copolymer, the gas adsorbent becomes very chemically stable because the skeleton structure is formed with C-C bond.
