<p>PURPOSE: To deliver the straight stream or spray of untreated water or flow of treated water by fitting a valve spool to a manifold for forming three operational positions. CONSTITUTION: A manifold 40 is provided with a straight stream outlet 30, spray outlet 32, and flow-in opening for treated water 38. An open-end part 50 of the manifold 40 is fitted with a valve spool 74 while a valve spool end part 77 is fitted with a spool driver 76 comprising a handle 26. The manifold 40 is housed between an upper cover 22 and lower cover 24. Further, the manifold 40 is fitted with a compression nut 28 surrounding a fluid inlet for fitting a faucet diverter valve to a faucet.</p> |
