METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDINGS

PURPOSE: To manufacture a perforation-free molded product comprising elastic polyurethane by mutually mixing a diisocyanate component present in a solid state at room temp. and a polyol component present in a solid state at room temp. according to circumstances in a liquid state and transferring the resulting mixture to a cavity to cure the same. CONSTITUTION: A diisocyanate component and a polyol component are heated to temp. higher than the respective melting temps. of them and up to viscosity of below 900 Pa.s measured by DIN 51562 but lower than the respective decomposition temps. of them as mutually separately supplied educts and mixed under a pressure of 150 bar or more in a high pressure mixing head to be extruded from the mixing head and the extrudate is transferred to a tool and, at this time, the temps. of the used educts are controlled to equal temp. up to the mixing head in the whole process and the mixing head is heated to the temp. of diisocyanate.
