PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition holding the original impact resistance, weather resistance, heat resistance, etc., of the basic resin, excellent in light- diffusing characteristics, and useful as a light-transmitting and light-diffusing material for lighting equipments, etc., by adding a specific compound. CONSTITUTION:The resin composition is characterized by adding a 0.001-10.00 pts.wt. of a polymethylsilsesquioxane to 100 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin. The average particle diameter of the polymethylsilsesquioxane is preferably 0.1-10mum. The objective resin composition is produced e.g. by mixing 100 pts.wt. of the polycarbonate resin with 0.2 pt.wt. of the polymethylsilsesquioxane having an average particle diameter of 2mum and subsequently melt-kneading the mixture in an extruder. |
