PURPOSE: To prevent a vertical outflow passageway or an outflow nozzle from being partially or completely blocked by uncombusted fuel, ash and fluidized bed materials and the supply of air to a combustion chamber of a fluidized bed reactor from being impaired as the operating time of the fluidized bed reactor is prolonged. CONSTITUTION: In the siphon-like nozzle for an inflow bottom of the fluidized bed reactor having the vertical inflow and outflow passageways, an extended part of the outflow passageway 7 constituted as a pipe piece 9 makes an angleαof 0 to about 20 deg. to a vertical axis line of the outflow passageway 7 in the direction of the inflow passageway 6, passes through the inflow bottom 3, projecting into an air box 8 and is provided with a detachable closing device 10. The upper edge of an outflow port of the air nozzle and the upper edge of a refractory lining 4 at the inflow bottom 3 are in one plane.
