PURPOSE: To provide a method for extruding fat contained cake material such as chocolate. CONSTITUTION: A fat containing cake material is sent to an extruder and at a temperature for practically keeping a solid or semisolid non-fluidized form, an axially uniform extruded product having the cross section of practically the same profile as the die outlet of extruder is plastically produced by applying pressure to the practically solid or semisolid non-fluidized fat contained cake material on the upstream side from restriction of flow.
