PURPOSE:To provide a polishing device which can feed a polish tape automatically and can replace tape easily and quickly. CONSTITUTION:A work W having at the periphery a surface Wb to be polished is rotated round the axis by a rotating mechanism 5. From a feeding mechanism 19, a poslish tape 25 is fed onto the surface Wb of the work W. Using a pressure giving mechanism 37, the tape 25 is put in pressure contact at a certain force with the surface Wb, which thus undergoes polishing. The tape 25 after making its service is taken up by a takeup mechanism 20 at certain amounts intermittently. |
