PURPOSE: To set a sensor to prescribed intracorporeal region of a patient without damaging it. CONSTITUTION: This pressure sensor device for surgical operations is provided with a sensor connected to one end of an electrical cable 42. The other end of this cable is formed into a coupling 46 equipped with shape-reduced, mutually axial-directionally spaced annular contact members 49, 50, 52, 57. A plastic guide is provided with a coupling with a tapered outer surface 66 at its one end and with a flexible lead 60 extended from the coupling. This guide is screw- connected to a coupling 42 via the thread grooves made inside an attachment 62. This guide is used for inserting the cable into a skull-shaped subcutaneous tissue. After the sensor is placed to a given position, the guide is removed, while the coupling 42 connects the cable to the monitor on behalf of the guide. |
