PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance of an adjusting valve by arranging the adjusting valve in a cavity above a place an exhaust passage on the side of a cylinder body is disposed, and thereby fixing a cap for the adjusting valve onto the cylinder body in the flow rate adjusting device for a vessel's propeller where the adjusting valve is adjusted in response to the temperature of engine cooling water. CONSTITUTION:An adjusting valve 26 is arranged in a region above a place where an exhaust passage on the side of a cylinder body 18 constituting an engine main body 20 is dispose, and a cap 28 for the adjusting valve and an inner exhaust cover 21 are fixed onto the cylinder body 18 with a bolt 29 in a state that they are held with pressure. The aforesaid cap 28 partially covers the exhaust side of the adjusting valve 26, and a projected section thin in thickness is formed at the opening section of the cap 28. And a support section 30 which is combined with an elastic body such as rubber and the like so as to be supported, is formed at the outer circumferential flange section of the valve seat 31 of the adjusting valve 26, so that support section is then engaged with the recessed seat face of a cylinder body 18. |
