<p>PURPOSE: To easily manufacture, to reduce a manufacturing cost and to improve reliability. CONSTITUTION: A plural-chamber passenger air bag cushion comprises an air bag having an inflation gas supply port 28, an inside chamber having an inner wall 30 disposed at an opposite side to the port 28 when inflated and having an upper edge at the port, and a woven fabric sheet 32 fixed into the bag between an upper edge of the port 28 of the bag and an intermediate 29 of the wall 30 and divided at the chamber of the bag to a lower side chamber 18 and an upper side chamber 20. Thus, inflating gas flowing from the port 28 is fully filled in the chamber 18, to pressurize, and the sheet 32 can be fed to the chamber 20 of the gas for pressurizing the chamber 20 to receive the pressure of the gas of the chamber 18 by venting means 24, 26 and further functions as a tether member between the port 28 of the bag and the part 29 of the wall 30.</p> |
