<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the airtightness and reliability in execution of the work by a method wherein sputterings of chromium, copper and gold are applied to a joining part in which a window material made of IR transmitting material is joined by soldering to an opening of a container to which the window material is attached. CONSTITUTION:A metalized part 2a for use in joining a disk-like IR transmitting window material 2 by soldering is provided to the side and the edge on the underside of the window material. Then, sputterings are made to the metalized part 2a with chromium, copper which is excellent in wettability in soldering and gold which is excellent in corrosion resistance in the order as mentioned above, and thereby a chromium-sputtered layer 5, a copper-sputtered layer 6 and a gold-sputtered layer 7 are provided. Soldering cream 9 is applied to a window material-mounting part 4 of a container 3, and joining is executed by placing the metalized part 2a on the window material-mounting part 4 and by applying heating thereto. Thereby, the airtightness in joining the window material 2 and wettability and the corrosion resistance in soldering on the joining part can be improved, allowing the window material 2 to be joined to the mounting part 4 with airtightness and durability ensured.</p> |
