<p>PURPOSE:To convert the transferring direction of an article automatically without making the device in a large size or in a complicated structure, by guiding one end of the article in a longer time than the other end, by the transfer surface of a chute suspended between conveyers. CONSTITUTION:A chute 3 is suspended to the front end of the first conveyer 1 and the rear end of the second conveyer 2. The front end of the chute 3 is formed to be oblique to the advancing direction of the conveyers to make the length of the chute left edge longer than the right edge in the lateral sides. As a result, since the right side part of an article 7 fed earlier on the conveying surface of the second conveyer 2 is conveyed and moved faster by the speed of the second conveyer 2, the right side part of the article 7 transferred as facing lateral on the chute 3 is advanced forward, while the left side part remains at the rear side as much. In such a way, the article 7 is converted from the posture facing lateral in the conveying surface of the first conveyer 1, to the posture facing longitudinal on the conveying surface of the second conveyer 2.</p> |
